Douglass forced 12 running clocks in 13 games this season. The Maryland 2A South champions earned seven shutouts, and beat opponents by nearly 40 points per game. The state record for most points scored in the playoffs is 160; Douglass has scored 145 with one game to go.

 

Eagles Coach J.C. Pinkney has been on the Eagles’ sideline for 17 years, and he’s never seen dominance like this — which is saying something because Douglass and “dominance” have been linked before.
